Back in the Seat, Barnes Finishes Seventh at AMS Saturday
Spending the early part of 2012 in the Military Academy, Parker Barnes was able to get to the track on Saturday, February 11th, to race his first event of the year in the Winter Flurry Series event at Atlanta Motor Speedway (GA). In the Legends Young Lions division feature, Barnes was able to drive to a seventh-place finish.
Barnes Earns Joey Logano Breakthrough Driver of the Year Award
At the Thursday Thunder Series banquet at Atlanta Motor Speedway (GA) on Saturday, December 10th, Parker Barnes was awarded the Joey Logano Breakthrough Driver of the Year award for his performance during the 2011 season.

About Parker Barnes
[2012 Bio] During his stellar rookie season in 2010, Parker Barnes earned four wins, 18-top-five finishes and finished in the top-10 in all but two of the races he entered. This record earned him the Georgia State Championship in the Bandolero Outlaws division.
In 2011, Barnes has earned multiple victories on top of numerous top-five and top-10 finishes.
In addition to his list of wins, the Georgia-native earned the Thursday Thunder Series championship at Atlanta Motor Speedway (GA) as well as the National Points Championship for the Bandolero Outlaws division.
Following the end of the 2011 points season, Barnes has moved up to the Legends Young Lions division where he will compete in 2012.
